Free spirits stirred by the rhythms
of poetry, art & jazz

Over the years I've tuned into the rhythms of nature...
The crashing of the seventh wave
The wingbeats of the hummingbird & the heron
The spiral unfolding of a hibiscus blossom
The aging color of a maple leaf in fall
The silent but steady snowfall

My illustrations echo these rhythms...
Brushstrokes of color crossing the page
Stipple dots suggesting the shadows
Bezier curves defining the edges

Rhythms emerge in my design too...
The voice of the typography
The flow of the images
The continuity of the concept

Whether drumming, dancing, drawing or designing
Communication stirs the inner rhythms of the viewer
This, to me, is how it works...
